A while ago, we noticed that nearly every aircraft operator we spoke to was not using their operational data to its full potential. Reasons for this were varied, but they mostly boiled down to two issues:
- Not enough time available to do deeper data analysis
- Not enough time available to learn the methods needed for deeper data analysis
This rang true with our own experiences, and quite frankly, we found it really frustrating that there was abundant data out there that wasn’t being fully mined for the information it could provide. That’s why we set up Flight Informatics.
